Happy 1st Day of Spring! + Global Warming..

So this year we totally skipped 2 seasons: Winter & Spring, which in all honesty I do not mind. Today is the 1st day of Spring and it is beautiful outside.

Spring calls for some spring cleaning and notorious allergies. Packing away all your winter gear and taking out the little dresses and SHOES!!

Also, for my mother she will soon begin to vigorously start planting every vegetable known to mankind in our backyard.

As you can see, the red line is the daily forecast high temperatures and the blue ling is the daily forecast low temperatures. The white lines represent the average highs and lows. We are well above the average temperatures for March and we do not even dip under or onto the average low line. Amazing!!! I wonder how hot and humid summer is going to be this year??

GLOBAL WARMING

On a side note, this drastic weather change can enjoyable however, is definitely effecting our climate.
"Human activities are changing the world's climate. Recent news points to 2007 being the hottest year on record to date. Furthermore, scientists are predicting that by 2100, average global temperatures will rise between 1.0º C and 3.5º C. Leading to this warming trend is the burning of fossil fuels such as coal, oil and natural gas. This causes heat-trapping gases including carbon dioxide (CO2) to build up in the atmosphere. The result of this effect is global warming. A rise in the average temperature of the Earth is one indication of climate change. Other more severe impacts of global warming include extreme weather events, such as ice storms, hail storms, hurricanes and windstorms. Our changing climate has the potential to alter our environment, ecosystems and economy in fundamental and unpredictable ways." - City of Toronto 2008-2012

Check out the 20 Deadliest Effects of Global Warming - after viewing these deadly effects, I wouldn't mind having our cold treacherous winters for a couple of months.
